In line with the Tenant Fees Act 2019, the only fees we can charge tenants in England are listed below. All other fees are prohibited by law.
A holding deposit equivalent to one week’s rent. This is used to reserve a property whilst reference checks and the tenancy agreement are completed.
Once paid, we will set a deadline (usually 15 days) by which time the tenancy must commence. The holding deposit will be:
Equivalent to five weeks’ rent where the annual rent is less than £50,000.
Where the annual rent is £50,000 or more, the deposit will be equivalent to six weeks’ rent.
All deposits are protected with a government-approved tenancy deposit scheme within 30 days of receipt.
Monthly rent as agreed and stated in the Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement.
